QAS is a warm supportive, multi-ethnic community where participation is encouraged and appreciated. Kids Klub QAS Kids Klub provides a safe nurturing, caring and fun place for children to spend and extended school day. Before school care and breakfast are available from 7:00 A.M. to 7:55 A.M. After school care is available from dismissal until 6:00 P.M.

Location Situated near the heart of down-town Concord, the school is easily accessible to the business district, BART, & Highway 242.

Kindergarten Queen of All Saints has a full day, developmental Kindergarten. Children are given the opportunity to explore learning though a variety of activities. Our goal is that all children have a firm foundation on which to build academic skills. All areas of growth are addressed so children can develop spiritually, socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually. Parents participate in the classroom with the teacher and classroom aide.

Curriculum The curriculum challenges all students to reach their maximum potential. Study skill are emphasized at each grade level. Critical thinking is encouraged in all subject areas, including Religion, Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science. Computers are incorporated into each grade level. The curriculum is enhanced by classes in art, music, social issues, environmental awareness and multi-cultural education.

Junior High Program This is a departmental program providing a variety of experiences to develop Christian leadership and responsibility to meet the needs and concern of the older students (grades 6-8). Students are given the opportunity to participate in student government where they can become school leaders, prayer leaders, and peer mediators. Students have increased academic programs, and their own junior high uniforms.

Physical Education Program Physical education and Motor Perception offers a variety of activities which enhances the physical skill of the children in grades K-3. The Junior High program is provided by Rhythm and Moves. The curriculum exposes students to a variety of sports, taught on a monthly rotation.

Special Activities Students prepare for sacraments and participate in special liturgies and prayer services throughout the school year. Community service. Parent Participation QAS parents take active parts in activities that provide enrichment opportunities for students. Although many families give far more, a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer time per year is required of each family. These programs are many and varied and may include time spent on field trips, at school helping with lunch programs, sports, in the classroom or at home with special projects.
