Adult Spirituality: Journey & Opportunity
Everyone’s experience of coming to faith & accepting God’s invitation to grow in faith is unique, but some common patterns are the following:
A need for relationship...with Jesus or perhaps with a member of their family or friend who is a practicing Catholic...
A feeling of emptiness... perhaps searching for a purpose, meaning in life....
A need for community...to belong to the community of Jesus’ disciples, to have connectedness with others in a worshiping community....
A need for a sacramental life...found in the powerful and profound ritual of the Catholic church..
Lives that are changing, transforming...new marriages, new babies, new age in life, new moves...
